Yesterday I went for my fist bike ride since………a long time ago.
Trying to begin any fitness plan or routine is the hardest part of getting back in shape (or into shape for the first time). This is what I like about bicycling. To me it just doesn’t feel like exercise because I have too much fun while I am riding. True, I am improving my basic fitness but that is just a happy side effect of one of my favorite activities.
Fitness, carbs, cardio, maximum heart rate, target heart rate, blah blah….. blah.
None of that really matters, I just love to ride my bike!
